On one hand good for him for being prepared otherwise we'd be fully talking about him in the past sense. The video showed the other guy shot first as Peake tried fleeing.

On the other hand, he's in the wrong for bringing a gun with him to a game and for breaking team rules and for trying to meet up with a 17 year old. He's gonna survive but this situation has ruined lives.

Like, sure, there's gonna be anomolies, but you gotta remember for every one of these feel-good undrafted/late round picks, there's hundreds of guys who are lucky to float around the NFL for a few years. Stetson could very well be the next Tom Brady/Brock Purdy but he's more likely to be a back-up at his age and his size which isn't necessarily a bad thing either. Plenty of successful college QBs don't pan out in the NFL.

It just never happened tbh

Not like there was a campaign for this either as a good chunk of the folks I know on the rez are a bit apathetic to the tribal government (that changed a bit with covid of course). Would not surprise me if this is the first time some have heard of the role, though I'm sure folks were made aware when the last speaker got into a scandal. Nice that this has happened and it's great to see more of the younger gens take note on the tribal government and hopefully reform it for the better.
