They give you temporary case number online when you file a report but no in person officer has responded to the event, what would be the reason for me to make this up?

Not crying over the purse. This person needs to be held accountable for his actions. Also driving while impaired he’s a danger to anyone. There was also cash, credit cards, ID, car keys and other things in my purse
