What skills do you have? Could you offer some kind of tutoring? I see lots of posts like that offering tutoring, babysitting, etc in my neighborhood Facebook group.

Maybe see if you can get a month to month plan somewhere and then once you have an number “port” it over and “park” it somewhere like number barn

Kind of disagree. A lot of housing in DC isn’t that walkable (like it takes 15 minutes or more to walk somewhere worthwhile) so people hop in their car or an Uber anyways. EOTR is less than 10 minute drive from the yards, barracks row, a handful if restaurants in historic anacostia, and two grocery stores in skyland.

Reply to What do you spend per month on groceries in DC? by questionsbecause
We were spending about $800 a month with weekly Whole Foods deliveries. Couple, No meat, some vegan products, 1 meal a week out. Been trying like crazy to cut that down- food prepping, trying different stores. Finally managed to significantly cut that cost this month then completely undid all the hard work by inviting friends over one night, bought a bunch of nice cheese, apps, and a couple bottles of ~$20 wine. Sigh.
