No. I live in the city so we don’t really get that power outages like that. And hen we do, it’s back up in no time. So I skipped th battery. Which brand did you go with?

My panels are getting installed in January- 166 a month should cover 99% of my need and maintain 92 % efficiency after 25 years

I always wondered how they stayed in business with how expensive their furniture was. They had an 80k rug. Who the hell in worcester can afford to buy that!
