Reply to anyone know where to get quail eggs? by syrboy
T Asian market on Foxon has them. I’m pretty sure the orange farmers market has them too, but I haven’t been there in a little bit.

Reply to New Haven lost a son. A kind and beautiful soul. Rest in peace Chris Schroeder. by Hester_Prynn
Sad over this. I met Chris when I rented the apartment above his. He was always a bright light, even when we hung out last summer.

We park in Milford, it’s free and shaves off a little time from the ride. You can purchase them right on the platform before you get on

Reply to What do you love about New Haven? by lavalamplass
Not sure if it’s mentioned, but I also love the proximity to NYC, Boston, Portland and Vermont for a getaway. You’ve got the sound, but also the woods. You can easily find a great hiking spot within a 15 minute drive that’s secluded enough to not see anyone else there. I love New Haven, lived in a handful of neighborhoods for 10 years.

Burning Hearts in Hamden has two reputable piercers. I’d go there first.

Absolutely, I hope your search is successful. There is a person/page called On Scene Media New Haven that has shared missing persons before, he has a big reach and works closely with law enforcement, I’d reach out to him with a posting first. It’ll be very shareable from there too. Good luck!!!!

If you can create a missing person poster that’s easy to share, posting it in New Haven communities on Facebook would be a huge help. I live here and know the city well. Checking in with soup kitchens and shelters in the area would help as well if you haven’t already.

My 97 Honda Accord was recovered a week after, and they let me know a week after that. That meant it had run up about $500 in just storage fees at the tow yard, not including the tow.
Definitely make a call every day to see if it’s been recovered.
