Open source does not matter, and you are misunderstanding the term. What you’re looking for is an AI without restrictions. Unless you plan on modifying it yourself, open source does not matter.

Most big orgs heavily enforce no conflicts of interests. A few contracts aren’t worth the loss in prestige if there are even whispers of it.

I think PMs typically work with a lot of teams. They’re partly a coordinator role. All the interviews may be meeting with the leader of each team
