Do you mean bonafide tunnels or small bridges with one lane under them? Not the same thing. There are only a handful of tunnels in CT, even if you include the tunnel twisters waterslide, which should only count as one tunnel.
In most places they just blasted the rock out of the way instead of digging a tunnel through the Earth.

Because they were developed under his tenure so he got to take credit for them.

I work outside. After about 5 years of working outside I have noticed my body adapts to the change in seasons regularly, in a way it did not used to.
But this winter has really disrupted the nice rhythm I had. Now I'm going to suffer in a way that I otherwise wouldn't have if we didn't have this warm weather.
The animal part of me is being directly impacted by climate change.

Technology is sort of there, nuclear pulse propulsion or molten salt rocket (supercritical nuclear fluid) can do 20-30% speed of light with existing designs. And don't forget that time dilation makes the trip shorter for passengers, if we can reach 40-50% the speed of light it starts to make the trip a lot more reasonable.
A nuclear pulse rocket might be able to have constant acceleration for the whole trip which can help with artificial gravity too.
The big problem at those speeds is shielding, high energy radiation and high energy particles. Not a prohibitive challenge however.

Still sort of affordable because it is an electric truck. If you have a gas or diesel work truck the difference between the $40k and $80k electric F-150 is about 2 years of fuel savings.
