Reply to Car financing… tier 1 credit but finance guy says I don’t have enough credit lines?? by Happy2helpnlearn
I give dealership finance one chance to be above-board and get me a good rate. If they don't, I just go to my local bank/credit union/online service. Last time I got a loan through lightstream and had the money in the bank within 24 hours. You should be able to get around 6% with a credit score of 750+.
Do NOT get a co-signer and don't worry about credit dings.

Reply to How high do we estimate online savings accounts/ CDs are going in the next 6 months? by Matttt21
No-one knows what the fed is going to do so no-one knows where interest rates are going to go. The Fed might decide that inflation is an absolute priority and they'll jack rates again or they'll decide that economic growth is more important and they won't. No way to know which way they're going.

I'm sure it'll be verified by end of year but the rate changes from 9% to 6% tomorrow so just be aware of that.

10amp outlet? Are you sure about that? I don't think I've ever seen a 10amp outlet. Most residential outlets are 15amp.

Reply to How to affix cat trees to walls? by scarykoala
Get these and use them on chest of drawers, bookshelves, etc. as well: https://www.amazon.com/Furniture-Proofing-Adjustable-Earthquake-Resistant/dp/B07R8HY6HR
I have these and I remember when my daughter was around 2 she had pulled all of the drawers open out of the dresser to make stairs and had climbed onto the top of it. The dresser had tipped forwards and was resting on these straps.
They work.

So the main reason it's not done normally is that the poly over paint process can take more than a week if not up to a month. Especially if you use acrylic or enamel cabinet paint. That takes weeks to fully dry and stop off-gassing. Typically poly is used over bare wood, not painted wood.

Reply to Wiring EV Charger by Loon610
Are you sure about this 8 gauge requirement? I have a Grizzl-E EVSE and it can handle 6 gauge just fine since it can deal with a 50 amp circuit and power at 40 amps.

Reply to Is it really necessary to wait months in between applying for credit cards? by madchad90
Look into converting your current cards into ones with better benefits at teh same bank. Then they don't need to pull credit at all and you get to keep the credit history.
