Similar reason to bubbles forming on the inside of a drinking glass, microscopic textures on the surface of the glass.
For fizzy drinks they provide a place for the gas to escape, for frozen windscreens they form places for the ice to adhere.

Yep, I'm on my 2nd run-through as I watched them when they came out and my wife had it recommended to her by a friend so I'm watching with her before we get season 5.
It's enjoyable and yes there are some difficult episodes, but definitely worth watching.

No mention of it what so ever, which for a show about a doctor's surgery you'd think they'd like some fresh material.
People would have raised voice conversations from 10 feet apart like it was completely normal.

Unfortunately it's sometimes on in the break room at work, it's truly awful.
The way they dealt with covid filming was truly ridiculous.

It and he are very good, I spent all afternoon watching it.
Jessica Raine and Nikesh Patel are also superb.
I'll also add Jessica Raine feels so established yet the only other thing I've seen her in is Line of Duty.
