For cleaning, I'd start by removing the keycaps and giving them a bath in some warm soapy water. While they're soaking, take a vacuum with the brush attachment to get all the dust and nastiness. You could air can it, but I personally wouldn't want to blow the dirt and who know what else in my house. Rinse and completely dry the keycaps and you should be good to go. Happy typing
