I don’t know how long time it would take to return to normal. The flaring event itself is short lived, a few hours give or take. Probably decades for everything to be back to normal afterwards though

For sure. Back in may or June or 2021 a catastrophically large solar flare erupted, and Earth was like 7 days away in its orbit from getting hit
Had we been hit, basically half of the planet would have entered the pre electric era overnight

Satellites usually burn up almost entirely in the atmosphere depending on size and materials used. This will likely never make it to the surface

Yeah, but my teen self would have been ecstatic over such a find! It’s also relatively easy to catalog & analyse current supernova candidates. Although not everybody has access to a spectrograph & a decent telescope haha

So what is the explanation? To me they clearly look like constellations and their relative placements are pretty accurate.
It’s just as valid of an interpretation of the relief as any other idea
