The sons and I had a very lively conversation about the best games on the Sega Genesis. Genuinely friendly if you can get past that tough old New Yorker exterior.

I miss Shopsin's. It was one of the best restaurants I've ever been to, and I am still in disbelief that they could support a menu that large. Superhuman ability.

Oh and NYC isn't even the impressive one — México City makes New York look like a village.

I've noticed that, for a lot of Americans who haven't visited, the scale of NYC can be really deceptive. It's huge. Huge huge. The longest distance you can travel end to end is 35 miles, all the same city. And it's dense as fuck.
It's big enough with its metro area for pretty much every kind of person to find a community there, hard right people included. Trump still received 691,682 votes in 2020 in NYC. Even the most obscure can find their own there, in niches big and small.
NYC has its own history with white supremacy as well — the old guard holds fast in many places.

This is definitely not an overhiring, overcorrecting situation. This is a social contagion of companies laying people off to satisfy stakeholders who want blood for their profits.
Frankly, if they could just push employees into a wood chipper and harvest their platelets for sale, they would.

What kind of bonuses did Twilio's leadership get this year?

Opiates are potentated by any other depressant. Xylazine is cheap as hell, and easy to obtain because it's a legitimate farm medicine. It also is guaranteed to cause ODs for some folks, which is an actual marketing tactic, as dark as that is.

And yet, you'll routinely find dingbats on Reddit claiming that cops are unfairly treated and how nobody else has a harder job so give them some slack ;---;
