so you openly admit that you aren’t aware of the rules of this subreddit, and then claim that they should be the same as another subreddit simply because… they’re geographically linked? my suggestions are that if you’re going to post articles, why not add something to the conversation instead of just dropping your crap and leaving it for others to discuss?

so first you tell me something isn’t possible, then you tell me you’d rather not do it, then i’m a troll. if you’re going to make an argument at least have the conviction to see it through.

“you lose the picture doing it that way”?? so you admit that your intent is not to inform, just to stir the pot. at least you’re being forthright for once.

neat, that’s plainly untrue. create a text post, and the third option from the left on your toolbar there? right after bold and italics? that’s a link. just add the link into a text post.

assuming you’re posting on mobile, createa text post and then select the add link button above the keyboard. for someone that posts as much as you do, you could put in a minimum amount of effort.

this is such a shitty narrative, there are over 1400 apartments currently available in providence. included the brand new apartments they literally just built across the street from this area, as well as underused properties in the jewelry district or whatever it’s called now. people deserve available green spaces.

even portland was more walkable than here. but if the super north isn’t your cup of tea (and you don’t have a pre-existing sports rivalry to not move there) philly is what you’re looking for.

coming from living in several actually walkable east coast cities, this place is only somewhat more walkable than miami. insomuch as they both have sidewalks.

for something like this you probably want to prioritize somewhere sizable to make sure you can actually get a seat. now that coffee exchange is back open inside i would say plunk down there, or if it doesn’t strictly have to be a coffee place there’s a good bit of space at the seven stars on point st. the bolt inside the risd museum is usually my go-to again because of its size, but when classes are in session it’s a bit of crapshoot whether or not it’s packed.

it seems that you clearly don’t understand that part, if you follow it up immediately with an example of how you don’t understand it.

you realize that this is a function of the point of sale machine, not the mechanic specifically asking for a tip, right? a lot of these machines do not have a way to bypass this screen, so typically the merchant will either swing the screen back around or explain the situation.
