so you openly admit that you aren’t aware of the rules of this subreddit, and then claim that they should be the same as another subreddit simply because… they’re geographically linked? my suggestions are that if you’re going to post articles, why not add something to the conversation instead of just dropping your crap and leaving it for others to discuss?

this is such a shitty narrative, there are over 1400 apartments currently available in providence. included the brand new apartments they literally just built across the street from this area, as well as underused properties in the jewelry district or whatever it’s called now. people deserve available green spaces.

for something like this you probably want to prioritize somewhere sizable to make sure you can actually get a seat. now that coffee exchange is back open inside i would say plunk down there, or if it doesn’t strictly have to be a coffee place there’s a good bit of space at the seven stars on point st. the bolt inside the risd museum is usually my go-to again because of its size, but when classes are in session it’s a bit of crapshoot whether or not it’s packed.

you realize that this is a function of the point of sale machine, not the mechanic specifically asking for a tip, right? a lot of these machines do not have a way to bypass this screen, so typically the merchant will either swing the screen back around or explain the situation.
