I hadn't ever heard this before, but it turned out I have heard a small snippet of it; Todd in the Shadows used this cover for the outro to his "One Hit Wonderland" video about the Surfers

since it's already been answered, I will just pop in to agree that it is indeed a strange song
though the stranger thing in that instance was having a song played on the radio and MTV by a band called THE BUTTHOLE SURFERS
