Oh, I think it’s both! Why chase a leadership position you’re not getting when you can go home and settle into a comfortable glide path to retirement.

It feels like this was a “move up or move out” moment for him. He was being vaguely groomed for house leadership, but didn’t make it in with the reshuffling that came with Pelosi’s exit as leader. He probably doesn’t see an upward path in the house at this point, and doesn’t want to spend the next twenty years as a rack and fine member. That’s my read at least.

No opinion on Goodsam, but I’ll say to pay attention to the benefits you get from AAA outside of roadside. Being able to go to a AAA office instead of waiting in line at the DMV has been a game changer for ys

I’ve been getting HAMMER called by Bright Solar, from shifting numbers, for weeks, no matter how many times I’ve told them I’m not interested at this time. What finally took was “I’m interested, but not from your company, since you’ve shown you clearly can’t listened.” Caller got offended, but no calls since

Diego’s actually has some decent tiki options. East End has the ingredients and one how to mail just about whatever you want.
Or there’s my home bar and accompanying Smuggler’s Cove recipes…

Along with the free community drop offs, Bootstrap Compost will pick up from your house (you pick the amount and frequency) for a fee, and then return composted soil during the growing season https://bootstrapcompost.com

My wife commutes to the hospital daily, starting in her fellowship, and I do it regularly for daycare dropoff/pickup. Not for nothing, with traffic there’s no such thing as a guaranteed ten minute commute to the hospital unless you live in like, the Jewelry District or maaaaaaybe Fox Point

Check out the Oak Hill neighborhood of Pawtucket. Just over the city line from Providence on the East Side. Because it’s technically Pawtucket, housing prices drop sharply, but is very nice with TONS of young families!

Swedish Motors specialize in Volvos and Saabs, seem to be where most folks around me with Volvos go, and are pretty well regarded. Just across the Prov/Pawtucket border on East (Hope) near Lippitt Park. Haven't taken a car there myself, but at least this is what I've heard.

Not sure of a salon, BUT. My wife donated a few years back, and did a ton of research. Apparently there’s some controversy about Locks for Love charging some people for wigs made from donated hair, while Panteen Beautiful Lengths or Wigs for Kids have no such baggage. In both cases, you should just need to dry cut your hair, bag it, and mail it in. Most salons should be able to accommodate!
