Any tire your tire shop carries will be fine. When i was hurting for funds at one time in life i used to buy used tires. Had 4 different brands on the car at one time.

>That brown sheet metal you see on the outside is just a cover/shell. The inner part is made of thick plate steel.
This could very well be true, but whats the point of the filter on the front?

Show me a wood stove that is not cast iron for one, show me a fire burning furnace / heater that is made our of sheet metal from anywhere around the age of this one. Show me a fire burning apparatus that has a filter on front.
We do make firepits out of sheet metal now adays because they are cheap and they last about 1 year because the heat destroys them. Furthermore i have a 1970's convection heater that looks very similar to this one.

Vintage for sure but no way that is a wood stove. Looks likes is a very old forced air heater. Maybe one of the first few out there. That or a traditional convection one but most convection dont have a filter on front.

This was valid up to about 1 year ago. Not so much anymore and the new rate is way lower, stocks have bounced back quite a bit and im not so sure the market wont out perform ibonds in the next 8-12 month. Heck you can find 1 year bonds and cd's paying really close to the next ibonds rate without the penalty.

Reply to Retention Bonus, any advice? by fixquesto
Your definitely going to have to sign a doc. What you need to figure out is how the payout works and if you get it even if they let you go prior to the timeframe. The last one i got was a big one but had lots of strings. 1/2 at 1 year, other half at year 2, once paid it was mine but if i got let go or left 1 day before payout i wouldnt get paid. Most of the time these bonus come because they are planing on major restructuring which probably includes your dept and maybe your role but they dont want everyone jumping ship and leaving them high and dry. Once the rumors start everyone starts looking for work. In my case they stayed true to their word. I stayed the 2 years, got a nice payday and then everyone most of us got let go. New it was coming and the payday made it easy to chill while looking for work. You boss may be telling you the truth but may also have job on the line and not know it. Long way of saying it doesnt cost you anything to take it. So take it but keep your ear to the ground and eyes open.

Have my motorcycle with progressive. My renewal was 200 less than last year and i have high end coverage. No change to anything and accident free just a simple note of congratulations, your premium is 200 less this year. Whenever insurance goes up just a little i start shopping around.

I think most are misunderstanding. The way that i read this is the at fault driver is saying we will pay for the deductible and rental as long as you have your insurance company process the claim. Meaning they will make sure repairs are equitable, done right and then process the claim through the at fault driver. Remember the OP has to requirement to process the claim through their insurance, they can do it all on their own, take the check, cash it and never repair or eventually come back and sue the at fault driver.
Sounds to me the at fault company it taking the lead to push this through insurance and overall help limit any extra paperwork or hassle that may arise from someone not going through insurance to fix. This does not at all appear to be trying to get the OP's company to pay for the repairs solely on the OP's behalf.
