No, the violence and hatred started long before Israel even declared independence.

The hate comes from anitsemitism. The Hamas Charter calls for the extermination of every israeli jew, and new plans include the enslavement of any of the rest that can be exploited by force.

And how does Gaza treat Israel? The jihadist terrorist groups that rule Gaza launch 1000s of rockets at israeli cities and towns hoping to kill as many israelis as they can.

The UN peacekeeping force in Lebanon has failed to prevent Hazbollah from operating in and militarizing the border with Israel, and the UN peacekeeping force on the israeli-egyptian border in 1967 dispersed when the egyptian army mobilized, marched on Israel, and ordered the peacekeepers to vacate. Israel has 0 experiences where UN peacekeepers uphold their mandates and actually keep the peace. Israel has no reason to agree to a failed formula.

Did the US really not see the problem when iranian drones were pointed at the US's middle eastern allies? It's only when they're used on Ukraine instead of say Israel or the UAE that the US sees the problem?
