He could get in if the film over performs.

He didn't get in for News of the World which was more well received (in terms of his performance) than Elvis. Supporting Actor is not weak this year. It's unlikely he will get in.

I enjoyed it. I thought it was a fun, twisty thriller. Florence Pugh, Pine and Wilde were all really good in it. Styles is passable except when he has to express BIG emotions. It looked great and had an incredible soundtrack. The social critique element is the weakest aspect of the film - I don't think it worked at all.

I don't really buy this idea because monologues due to their length are inherently not easy to screenshot and share.

To All the Boys I've Loved Before 1 and 3.
Tune Into Love (also on Netflix).
Your best bet is probably watching Korean dramas. They release new one season rom-coms pretty much year round and they're great. I'd suggest starting with Reply 1997 or What's Wrong with Secretary Kim or Business Proposal.

Well it will be nice to actually be able to watch this since we don't have Peacock here.

Is that a dig at Beanie Feldstein? She wasn't the right fit for Fanny Brice but she's barely old enough to be someone's mother.

While I'm sure almost any youngish actor would love to be in the running for Bond, that seems out of step with the kinds of projects he's done to date. This is like the first action-y thing he's been connected to and if he was James Bond, he wouldn't have much time to do the small independent work that has been his bread and butter so far. I'm sure he's very talented but I would be sad to see him chained to such a consuming major franchise for the next ten plus years. There are other actors who would fit the bill better, IMO.

You should watch Emma then. She's got a supporting turn in that.
