They were planning on changing that to accommodate the larger tournament field in 2026. According to the article, that has been scrapped.
The reason I dislike 3 team groups is that it creates un-competitive incentives. Teams pretty regularly would be forced into scenarios where both teams are perfectly content with a draw in order to make sure both teams advance, and it would be to your competitive disadvantage to play in the first two games.

Seems like this may be driven by the expansion of paternity leave.
Paternity leave would explain why the people working less are disproportionately fathers.
It would also explain why mothers are working more. If they have a husband who can take paternity leave it may not be as necessary to take the full amount of maternity leave.

The “Rich” and “religious” findings are both interesting.
Some other forms of gambling (like the lottery) are typically done by people who are not rich. I wonder if it’s because sports betting is more skill based — it’s entertainment for those who gamble rather than a prayer for better living conditions.
And religious is straight up the opposite of what I’d expect out of the average gambler since a lot of religions would consider gambling to be a Vice.

I looked it up. Wikipedia says there were 2.
The first was flying out of Switzerland after a 3-day stay at a time when the country had mandatory 10-day quarantine.
The second was attending Wimbledon at a time where UK Covid rules required him to be in quarantine.
I think the spiciest one though is some unspecified “transgressions in his personal life” that he admitted to in 2016 and sent an email apologizing for to 75,000 employees.
