Our Dyson Animal is a piece of shit. We got a Miele canister for free from a neighbor, and it’s a rock-solid beast.

Dyson products are the very antithesis of BIFL.

For the most part, demand for tech products has not decreased, so why aren't we pointing fingers at management for overhiring in the first place?

This is more than I needed to know about cattle.

Reply to Best place to park for a day?? by Electronic_Ad8520
My parking garage preference is the one under The Washington Post at 1301 K St NW. (The entrance is on 13th St, just south of the firehouse.) It’s a self-park, open 24 hours, doesn’t need reservations, and shouldn’t cost more than $15 (last I checked). Some spaces are double-depth, so you’ll have to leave your key with the attendant, but that won’t be a problem on weekends. It’s a bit of a walk down to The Mall, but less hassle than street parking.
If you need street parking, the west side of the FBI building almost always has spots, and it’s a short walk to the east building of the National Gallery of Art.
