Reply to The grass making its debut today at #SBLVII was developed by USGA-funded research, and is the same turf on which you'd play 18! by Bears9Titles
I put some normal midiron Bermuda in my backyard in Peoria last May. It is dormant now, in mid-winter. I did not overseed this year, to avoid the rye competing with the Bermuda roots over the winter.
I think that’s what these turf “experts” need to do. Let the Bermuda base grow strong for a year or so. Then overseed in the next fall for a beautiful green field with a tough base. Probably be much better than what they had on Sunday night.

On Tobago, I've had it roasted and it is pretty bland. I think it would be better fried with some spices added. Nonetheless, I can see how it is a valuable starch for the diet.

Well this is interesting.... We got a kitten off the streets in Houston about 13 years ago. He was meowing really loud, which led to my daughter capturing him...
To this day, he still yells at us every day. First thing in the morning - I'm hungry! Later in the day - I want to go outside! Later, come sit with me on the couch and watch TV!
Our cat is noisy. Other cats we have had were not so much...

I used to do the 2RBC donation where they take 2 units of blood out of you and return the plasma. It was nice to get a serious buzz after a couple of glasses of wine. Never got sick though, I think I have a cast iron liver.

Colder than average in Arizona for 6 out of the last 7 months. A chilly cool season, no doubt in much of the western US.
