  1. The board made an educated, researched, and legal decision.
  2. The house the guy wants to build is 950 square feet. That is no larger than the majority of the homes already on the lake, and is definitely modest by town standards.
  3. Personally, I hope a nice family of color with a LGBTQ+ member moves in to challenge his narrow mind and tiny, grinch, fuckin heart.
  4. If he doesn't like it, he probably has the means (that most people don't) to easily live elsewhere. I'd even bet that he already owns other properties in the massive state of RI.

I live in this area, and in horse and buggy distances, they were not near each other. Especially not their burial sites. Nellie is a good 20-25 mins. drive from Mercy. Very interesting history, though.

Here's some real dad-talk now. Please, anyone visiting these cemeteries- be respectful and remember that these were real people and there are families with loved ones buried there. With that said, have fun checking them out and be careful. :)
