No, but I think AMC doesn't have anything else. Hopefully they don't make seasons too long for these new spinoffs. It can maybe work if they just keep them short and release them during peak times. But if every series becomes 16 episodes a season it's going to be difficult to want to keep up, lol.

I didn't mind it, I think a good amount of the episodes were finished prior to the pandemic so we can't really blame that.
Although I do think it was next to impossible to do anything that could conceivably compare to the first 3 seasons of this show. We'll see what happens with S5, but I feel like they might want to end it after that just for the sole fact that the bar was set so high with the first several seasons its just hard to duplicate or even come close to reaching that bar.

Did a rewatch of Buffy/Angel a few years ago. I thought both were great and still hold up well. I can't say where I would rank it all time but I think it still holds up fine. Not many serialized type one hour dramas in the 90s from what I remember.

Since the majority of seasons are only 10 episodes, I followed through with it each year since it was an easy binge and didn't have to invest that much time. Definitely glad its ending though, its time to wrap it up and only stayed on since I know its finishing. Doubt I will take a look at the spinoff.
It's interesting too because I can't think of many other shows if any that had that much hype first season, won so much critical acclaim and awards and feels practically forgotten now.

I actually loved Expose. I was indifferent to Nikki/Paulo - I think casual fans were confused by them. Sure the episode wasn't a mythology episode but I thought it was written and executed well and was a lot of fun.
Completey agree about NIP to the end. Even though you will hear mixed responses about what the best season was - that run was so good.

That season gets some flack especially for "Stranger in a Strange Land" - this is where producers negotiated an end date because they knew that type of storytelling wouldn't last.
But I would say the entire second half of that season is so strong. And obviously that finale cliffhanger is one of the greatest.

Huge 24 fan, for anyone that has seen this, not that I am necessarily looking for a rehashing of that show - but does it come close in terms of good a thriller that was?
