Precisely this. We had friends Venmo us a wedding gift for a honeymoon to Cuba and they made the mistake of mentioning "Cuba" in the memo. Funds were captured for a couple of months until after an investigation.

Jaywalking doesn't exist. It was literally created by the automobile industry. https://www.vox.com/2015/1/15/7551873/jaywalking-history

There are a few of them in the city, but the pedestrian signals should change to WALK a few seconds ahead of the green light. (https://safety.fhwa.dot.gov/ped_bike/step/resources/docs/fhwasa19040.pdf)

The Jasper folks are opening one in Church Hill (https://richmondmagazine.com/restaurants-in-richmond/food-news/when-the-broth-hits-the-lips/) I think they've had pop ups in the past, but no direct experience with how it was then.

I think the route that originates in Richmond and goes to DC started just before the end of FY21 - https://www.wtvr.com/news/local-news/new-amtrak-train-route-51, which obviously means those numbers are low. But good to see that the route is getting lots of use and not necessarily taking away from the other routes that come through town.

Not sure how rules changed in the prior administration, but we were able to fly direct from the US into Cuba, but had to have an approved reason with the State Dept. We went for "educational" purposes, and were told there had not been a check on any of those declarations in 20+ years. And tons of Canadians there!
