How are they going to learn from coworkers if all the coworkers that know what they are doing are working from home?

There was a court case I think involved Linked-In that was like this. A different company built a business from scraping their public pages, then Linked-in blocked them and got sued. Courts sided with the other business.
edit i have been corrected. HiQ was initially granted an injunction that prevented LinkedIn from preventing scraping. That injunction was initially upheld by the appeals court. It was later vacated and LinkedIn won the case.

Why do people keep moving here then? Even europeans relocate to the US for work.

If students are plagiarizing the work, then they may not be learning. People already get degrees in fields without properly understanding the material. It can also kill innovation. If people don't understand the material they need to, them they probably won't be able to change it and improve it.

Reply to comment by slo1111 in COVID vaccines and first boosters provided protection to pregnant women during Omicron surge. Looking at unvaccinated women, you still have an increased death rate, and increased neonatal mortality. If you are vaccinated and boosted, especially with a mRNA vaccine, those levels drop by 81%. by Wagamaga
Why do those numbers show a drastic difference? 57 of 145 is 39% with no symptoms, and 108 of 314 is 34% with no symptoms.

Plastic is made from oil. Oil and other hydrocarbons are a naturally occurring thing. I would guess that there has been bacteria that eats oil and things for a very long time, and it wasn't a huge leap to eat plastik

Because it's neat to look at things in orbit. A lot of people like to look for the ISS, and you could just as easily say it's just light pollution.

How is it any different if you meet some stranger at a bar, a grocery store, or anywhere else? You can have your first date in a very public space, but if they woo you enough, you will eventually be alone with them.

Huh? I grew up along the Mississippi River, and have been through a lot of flooding on it and the tributaries in my area. Don't recall any car fires from floods.
