Interesting, sorry to hear that. IIRC the duck was the priciest entrée at ~$55, so I can understand being disappointed if it wasn't done correctly. Duck is not difficult to prepare if you know what you're doing! Neither my wife nor I ordered the duck, but our experience was quite different from what you're describing.

If your only gauge of restaurant quality is the price, you may be in the wrong place.
I went here recently and thought the meals were thoughtfully created, sensibly-portioned, and had interesting ingredients that were responsibly sourced. The waitstaff were kind and knowledgeable, and probably paid what they're worth.
If course it's going to cost a bit, but this kind of place is an every-once-in-a-while luxury experience, not a quotidien buffet.

Good luck, I love this idea. And kudos to you for being able to respond to the critiques. There are some shit pants fools among us in the subreddit, but I hope you find who you're looking for.

I know of this site but it's a pain to use on a mobile device and doesn't link the bathymetric maps, unless there's something I'm missing. Also my map is specifically for the trout ponds.

There should be a download button at the top of the screen. You need to download the file and import it into an app that's compatible with KML files.

I think it's partly geography and partially the suburban nature of the county, but that's just an educated guess. Bedford, for example, has zero maps on fish and game's site - they just don't have the water. It would be interesting to find out the methodology behind which places f&g choose to designate and stock. I would imagine a wide variety of factors goes into this.

Reply to Merrimack (or Portsmouth) Apartments? by arimathea
Merrimack is a good, albeit boring, place to live. I know nothing about SLATE except that they're brand new and right next to the outlets, with easy access to route 101A. 101A has a (very busy) Market Basket, a Whole Foods further down and many many shops and restaurants ranging from very good to dreadful.

Second for hotworx, it's basically perfect for social anxiety. Small dark warm saunas that only fit 3, and you can wait until the last minute and book an empty one through the app. There's one in Bedford too.
