Not sure why you’ve received the downvotes, especially in a sub that’s usually a little bit more in-tune with checking themselves for that kind of language.

Some people just have bigger fish to fry 🤷🏼♂️

My neighbor has a lawn care company biweekly 3/4 of the year and they use gas-powered blowers.
Anecdotally, I’m not sure I’ve noticed anyone that’s actually made the switch.

This is one of the slowest times of the year for the museums. You should be fine.

I’d argue the sub is predominately anti-police policy, and the users within are smart enough to know the people aren’t as terrible as they’re made to seem.

They’re still out of work and unable to live on their own. But those days are coming!

This happened to my friend on NY Ave last year. They were in a coma for months, their road to recovery was lengthy and arduous, and still continues. I hope for a full recovery for this young man.

If you’re doing CPR right, you’re probably going to fracture ribs and/or the sternum.
Medicine can be funny sometimes in that in order to save life & limb, sometimes extraordinary means are necessary. Sometimes they result in additional (but not necessarily further) injuries.

This certainly seems to scream redevelopment via attrition. They allow the properties to degrade to a point of inhabitability, refuse to allow new tenants on that premise(s), demolish, rezone as mixed use, and profit. In the eyes of DCHA, a $10 million short-term annual loss is excusable for the profit mixed use developments will bring on those properties.

If you want to go to Air and Space in DC, which you absolutely should, get your tickets now. The museum has been closed since March, and reopens Oct. 14 with several brand new exhibitions. There are still tickets available, but I think they’ll go super fast once people realize it’s open again.
