I'm in the minority here, but I don't care for Alamo. The screens are fine and the audio is actually nice and loud, but it's ruined for me because the seats have these little desk things in them that can't be moved. I'm a big guy and that stupid desk just feels like I'm locked in to a roller coaster or something. I never buy food in a theater either so it's just there with no purpose. Most people don't mind it but it ruins the experience for me

Reply to Who's the worst landlord in Springfield? by strangemud
I tried to look at a house rental once with some guy named Frank. I don't remember the company name but all the reviews said he was awful. He wanted to run a background check before even showing me a property and was super stand offish on the phone and he never even got back to me.

When my family moved to this area we called that "the maneuver". Nobody did this where we lived before but people constantly pull into the median to THEN merge in to traffic around here. It's a very stupid thing to do generally, you weren't in the wrong necessarily but I typically just give these people room to do their stupid shit. Don't get pulled in to the gravity well of stupidity, always have to stay on your toes driving in Springfield

I would definitely avoid the north side if you prefer not having things stolen regularly. As far as the jobs cox is much better than mercy (I've worked for both). The minimum wage for cox as a company is $15.25, so I wouldn't be surprised if Starbucks people made around that much. But if you are licensed in some job it probably won't be too hard to get a job but I'd definitely start applying a few weeks before you're wanting to start because it can take a while for the hiring process.

I lived in the west side of town for a while and had to switch to another service because I had no connection in that house, I could go two streets over and be fine. This was like 8 years ago though so I don't really know how they are now

Yeah I joined the 'wtf Springfield' group for a few days because I thought it would be the goofy crazy stuff around town. But it was clear pretty quick that they were just making fun of homeless and other people for just existing.

While driving, remain ever vigilant. Npc's have a driving AI randomizer that makes their actions unpredictable and dangerous.
