Reply to TIL about Lillan Bloodworth, who donated blood every 56 days for nearly 50 years. By the time she stopped at age 85, she had donated 23 gallons. (The average person's body contains about 1.5 gallons.) by WouldbeWanderer
I would like to personally thank her, and anyone that does this. My kid had leukemia and needed a lot of blood or platelets. I was always thankful for the donors.

Reply to Please explain the weed smell. On the Turnpike driving 70mph. No cars around. Huge weed plume somehow enters my car with the windows closed. Where is it coming from ? How much are they smoking for smell to linger ? by TextEfficient
It’s like, the old days when 15W smelled like butterscotch. Every exit has its smell

Seriously?! It’s like commenting on a lack of traffic. You don’t say it out loud, just quietly enjoy it.

My Dad got the paper delivered every day, Sunday included. I read the “funnies” from 1980 until he died in 1990. Loved Beetle Bailey, Calvin &Hobbes. But those others like Prince Valient and the Martha lady were weird.

Seriously, that’s great. I’ve been driving by there for 40 or so years now.
