I think it's pretty well-recognized as an amazing guitar solo. Personally, if we're talking about guitar solos that were on commercially released albums, I think Jerry Garcia's "Dark Star" solo on Live/Dead by The Grateful Dead is the best guitar solo of all time. I could listen to that over and over again until the end of time.

The Grateful Dead is imo the most fulfilling band to do a deep dive into, but with thousands of live shows, hundreds of albums (I'm including officially released live archival recordings), plus dozens of side projects, you may get hooked for life.

It goes through a rough stretch in mid season 2 due to creative issues. It gets better towards the end and the actual ending is pretty great. Then the film Fire Walk With Me and the third season are fantastic. Imo it's all totally worth it in the end.

This is just what happens when we as a culture are accustomed to "TV Shows" that are actually 10 hour movies with huge special effects budgets, dozens of cast members, and Hollywood-style action sequences.

You get what you pay for with this stuff. If more audiences were interested in 22 episode seasons of cheaply produced situation comedies, then we'd be getting a bunch of those made every year instead.
