This article has an excellent before and after image. It blows my mind that the before image is the light from the galaxy with the after image just the light from a single star exploding in that galaxy. Or perhaps it’s just the afterglow. Either way that is 2B ly away. Crazy.

Not really my strong suit, so these might be kind of weak suggestions.

Rick Wakeman is one of my favorite rock keyboardists (for the band Yes). But his solo stuff has some nice piano work and he has a cover album centered around piano renditions.

Ben Folds also comes to mind.

I remember when I first saw the Hubble Deep Field. I stared at it for quite some time. I never felt scared though, just amazed. I can’t wait for more treasures from the JWST.

I’m always torn between Superunkown and Badmotorfinger as my favorite Soundgarden album. But they are my favorite of the “grunge” bands.

I want to give a honorable mention shout to Mad Season (Above). I feel they get overlooked even though they were considered a “supergroup” like Temple or the Dog (also with a great album).
