I'd honestly just schedule an apt and go to an Apple Store to get it done if you can. It's <$50 for an iPhone 8 and it will be genuine parts and an official repair. Not to say third party parts don't work, but they will be more consistent directly from Apple, and they can't use the third party repair against you if you need something else from them in the future. Worth the extra $20 imo

Yes, battery health affects the overall performance of the phone. With a weak battery, it needs to throttle itself, ie less power which results is less performance

Saying it only has better performance and battery life ie: what most people look for in a phone, as just some sort of small irrelevant blurbs at the end is quite something lol

Also, if you require a phone have Touch ID as well, that's kinda on you for not doing a simple search if the phone you're purchasing has it beforehand, no?
