Seems like if you are reserving space during normal open hours, the room reservation should apply. That they closed early for a private event on the taxpayer’s dime is not ok. And if it’s private, they need to RENT the space.

The library should not have closed early for a private event. Nor are they supposed to be hosting private events.

I can’t imagine the horror of knowing you can’t stop in time and seeing it happen right in front of you.

Just ensure you keep a non-electrical backup source of heat when you lose power.

If you see VCA in the name, it’s owned by a national company who sets policies, prices, etc. We took our dog to a great vet until one day they suddenly began insisting on expensive tests our vet didn’t do before — the practice had been bought by VCA.
