Was about 30-45 minutes. We parked just outside the Amitabha Stupa Peace Park and walked through the park and then onto the upper Chimney Rock trail to the to the top where you can either scramble left to the top of Chimney Rock, or scramble right and climb the big boulders next to it for an amazing view of the entire Sedona valley below facing east.
Thank you! I definitely thought about when looking through all my photos of the trip that I wanted to post something different than the famous landmarks of Sedona and something that had a better memory attached.
My wife and I hiked to the top plateau of Chimney rock in Sedona just as the moon was coming over the horizon and the sun was setting behind us and while walking up I noticed this beautifully framed view and took this shot with my Pixel 6. The colors of the red rocks combined with the yellow of the moon made for some spectacular colors and an awesome hike.
