Grew up in the "Mental" as these youngsters call it, I still call it Middletown, also known as "home", and i've traveled the world, and while although I do find myself constantly wanting to move out west, California to be exact, I don't jump right to it for the simple fact that I will most likely find myself back in Connecticut. There's something about New England's spring time and autumn that you just can't experience anywhere else. Plus I now live in East Haddam minutes outside of Salmon River Valley, and it's freakin beautiful in the valley. Great fishing, one of the last places you can enjoy off-roaring without people breaking your balls, and of course the serenity of the great outdoors. I think that's what keeps me here. Or at least that's what I tell myself.

We do have better graffiti here in CT, unfortunately all the good writers don't spend their time hopping out of a car on I-91 at 4am to write VEO on every highway sign, overpass, newspaper vending machine, wall, cat, dog, and dunkin' donuts restroom walls. All the good CT writers play on the RR tracks.

Am I the only CT asshole that gets the urge to run up on a fellow CT asshole that doesn’t use their turn signal, so I can reach through their driver side window to violently rip that god damned turn signal off the steering column so I can beat them with it? Is that normal? Or should I talk to someone about it? 🤔😱😵‍💫🤕

Because they don’t want people nosing around, especially the scum bags that pass through between the Bronx and Stamford looking to pull a “heist”. The Petit family is a perfect example of why they want their property secured like Fort Knox.
