I entered a payment arrangement with them in November, and had actually been paying more a month on it than I had agreed to. They just threatened to shut off my power for not paying the bill in full. I called and they said they had no record of any payment arrangement and wanted me to agree to another - which doesn't do anything to make the monthly bill more affordable at all. I told them GOOD FUCKING LUCK WITH THAT.

The food here in general is great, but I'll agree on the pizza. There are very few places that are above average - Sicilia, Vivaldi's, Providence Coal Fired, and of course the Frank Pepe's location in Warwick are the ones that come to mind. Then again I moved up here from the New Haven area, so my standards are high.

How about this: Restaurant staff should just be paid the same as everyone else; tips should be a bonus for above-and-beyond service and for managing large groups, and kept by the employee(s) that actually do the work not shared among the entire staff. No amount of earned tips is going to make up for the fact that they're paid $4.25/hr. Oh but what about the restaurant owner - If a business can't afford to pay their employees a proper wage, then they shouldn't running a business. Period.

The RIPTA website does a decent job of tracking the buses by route. It's not fully real-time tho, and it's prone to issues from time to time. That's what I use along with the WAVE app. I'd recommend being at the stop 5-10 mins before the bus.

You should have no issues with your daughter riding free at all. If a driver does give you trouble tho, record their badge # and the bus route/time.
