Reply to An 'extremely dangerous tornado' strikes Georgia as 20 million Southerners are at risk of treacherous weather Sunday by xdeltax97
I need reading glasses. I thought it said "An extremely dangerous tomato strikes GA". What the heck makes it so dangerous?

Reply to Kitchen renovation question by Laneo2007
I'm 6' 3". When I did my kitchen, I did the floors then cabinets. I wanted the cabinets to be as high as possible. The original was tiled up to the cabinets and I would get cramps in my back from leaning over working at the counter tops.

Rush has done 2112, but I'm not sure if they've done the whole album

Reply to comment by Smallios in LPT: Don't buy anything from Home Depot except nails or screws by Such-Track5369
Worked for a plumbing supply house as vp of purchasing for 20 years. Been retired for a year+. Faucets from major brands can have plastic traps, stoppers and more. The complete part numbers are different. Other items have consumer grade specs. Stainless sinks are thinner 22g vs 18g where they have different versions for price. I don't think toilets and china are different. Flush valves and flappers might be, but again, full part numbers are not the same. The AO Smith water heaters are the same, but sold with a different warranty. We didn't do much in tools so I can't comment there.

Reply to ELI5: What’s the difference between PRE TAX, ROTH BASIC, and AFTER TAX? by Wowerful
One thing not mentioned so far is that a Roth is not subject to Required Minimum Distribution) RMD when you reach mid 70's, which can jack up your taxes paid well into retirement. This is why Roth conversions are a thing.
