Reply to ISO an in-person DnD group by 2nicool4u
Feel free to PM me; I host a group on Tuesday nights, and we just lost someone to a Chicago move. Happy to see if you're compatible with the group.

Crumpler; Australian, so likely more easily available. Still pretty expensive; think 2-300$USD. But definitely overbuilt for life; I'm still using mine after 20 or so years, and it's still functionally like new, just acquired a patina of stains over the years.

Trusty's, on Penn between 14th and 15th. Dive-y as hell, food's good.
Tune Inn is good as well, but I'd describe them as more 'Neighborhood' than 'Dive'.

'reputably'. Reading comprehension, try it.
'Autistic'. You must not be from here.

Both places have lower costs of living than DC.
You can get the exterior of your car washed and waxed three times for 100$. Detailing, I've never seen reputably offered for close to 100$.

Reply to What do you spend per month on groceries in DC? by questionsbecause
Are you scrambling Faberge eggs?
About 350 / month, couple, split between Safeway / Aldi's / HT. We cook, though, so we're buying ingredients.
Worth noting: I tend to stock up when decent sales happen, and I go for generics / store brands whenever they're cheaper. I'm not picky =)
