Trials are in progress to slow it - not sure about prevention yet but if you can increase the timeline of Alzheimer’s or dementia impact by 1/3 or 2/3, trust me… it’s worth it.

They’re checking for a specific protein that’s indicative of an onset. If found (and a blood draw is much easier and cheaper than scans) they can start preventive treatment sooner.

I know OP disagreed, but I'm with you. I can't see how sliding the car over 8" to fit properly wouldn't result in a door ding, especially since that's an Arby's and THEY HAVE THE MEATS.

Depends on what they’re asking for. I’d expect the link to take you to a site asking for your name, real address, and a card number (with CVV) to confirm the order.
Assuming that’s the scam: They’d then make some fraudulent charges on the card either using an identical card they printed, or online with shipment to an unused house they’re squatting.
Edit: Another commenter had a fair point. If this happens, go back through your purchase history and look for the lesser known companies. Amazon & others like them have protections that other sellers probably do not have. Then never buy from them again.

That you don’t see or recall it doesn’t mean it doesn’t happen. You’re probably savvy enough to recognize and dismiss it when you see it, or you don’t see it because something is blocking it for you.
Regardless, the metrics jump during the holiday season. I congratulate you on your good fortune.

Assume you meant “call” instead of “can”.
I’m a guy people call when they get scammed. I get calls every year during or after the holidays.
The time it takes to undo the damage is far longer than the few minutes it takes to learn how to avoid it.

I can't find it easily but IIRC there's a provision in MA whereby you could use up to 4 days of paid sick leave and the company can get reimbursed by the state for it.
If each warning is a written warning, I'd produce the note and the request from HR, raise the laws that back his case, and ask that the warnings be removed from his file.
Then leave ASAP as this is a fucking horrible manager.

There are trials under way to address this. The way it's been discovered is often too late in the process and costly, so insurance companies screw with the process. Blood draws are much easier on their wallet and give a good idea if further testing should be performed.
