Every time someone says Boston is chock full of liberals, just need this little reminder that this is a “thing”

That doesn’t look like 1966 NE trim.
The windows don’t look like they’re from 1966 either.
When the previous owners updated the windows, they probably updated the trim.
Do a quick lead spot test to confirm.
That trim looks good. If it’s original 1966 trim, you’d have to get custom trim to fit as all mill work now is smaller/thinner.
Just what I’d do being a New Englander and feeling with a 1910 building and red cedar siding from the 50s.

Can confirm this is happening in CH—SFH houses that can’t be profitably flipped for “luxury” condos are being restructured this way. Not the way to stabilize neighborhoods, DC.

Thanks for sharing. No, Quebec Toby has more brown tones in his fur (as well as different body shape which you can’t see from the pic).
Glad Capitol Hill Toby found his people. Huskies are such punks—I get they can’t help hearing the call of the wild, but, dang. It’s a major issue with huskies.

Hoping he’s local to Columbia Heights / Petworth. Pls pls pls post to any FB groups or other groups you can think of.

No option for pellets :)
The Green Energy Consumers Alliance has webinars on the newer heat pumps. I know technology has improved, but it’s good to hear from someone who actually had it done and doesn’t have skin in the game.

Thanks for this honest feedback.
Was looking at mini splits 10 years ago after MassSave audit and with one of their “approved” vendors.
It felt like an Anderson Renewal window scam. For 1200sqft condo was quoted $14 and change discounted from $18k.
I can’t see in any scenario how I would’ve made out from this.

I can see that happening…
it’s 3am on a Friday night. Do you go to big box in the morning for a replacement or spend $$$ and living the cold water life waiting for the solar replacement.

You only have to look at YOY voting results by wards and precincts to know where the pockets are.
