I am positive MacFarlane and his crew can manage to make topical jokes about the 90s.

He was a disgusting rich person in the 80s/90s. He didn't start being a bad person in 2016.

Personally, the addition of Alley really ruined the show for me. She's annoying and whiny and everyone treats her like she's a 10, but she's really not attractive at all. And she's a Trump fan, ew (even in the 80s/90s). And she was sooooooo prevalent in the show. I seriously hated her character.
Regardless, Diane had probably run her course on the show.

Vox Machina really went under the radar. It was really good.

I'm glad you have such strong opinions on this, but I really don't care.
John's a great character and a rare black superhero getting his own project. He is a more interesting subject for a GL series for me.

And Batman started out using guns. Sometimes characters find their footing after their first appearance. I'm mostly referring to the JL version of the character.

John Stewart is a more interesting character than Hal Jordan (granted, neither one of them is all that interesting outside of their powers). And as has been said, a lot of the target audience grew up with John Stewart Green Lantern from the Justice League.

That would be because it's on Apple.

Swords were more convenient close combat weapons than muskets. The story starts with D'Artagnan being set to duel the 3 musketeers with swords, and then they have to fight their way out of being arrested for illegal duel.
Never read the book or anything, but I wouldn't be surprised if they do actually do their job as musketeers at some point.

GLOW is such a tragedy because it's one of the few shows they did try to see through to the end, but Covid derailed things in the middle of shooting (had already shot the first episode)
Maybe they'll pull some magic and make it happen, but everyone involved has moved on to other things, it'd be hard to get it back together.

The fourth and final season was set to have the show become the actual TV show it was based off of. (although every character in the show is fictionalized)
I never clicked with the direction Season 3 went with the Vegas stuff, but Season 4s setup gave me some hope for the future.

I haven't liked any of his movies except Looper. I even saw Brick.
I do want to see this somewhat just because the voice she's using lol. But rian Johnson's name does not help it in my eyes. Especially for anything involving mysteries.
