Lived in North Shore MA for 5 years before moving to South County. I’ll never go back. Better beaches, better roads, more affordable (this all relative) housing, taxes. We doubled our home size and lot size, added a garage and paid $40k more than we sold our old house for.
Schools seem excellent where we are. Very rural, but pretty easy access to everything. 15 min to downtown Newport and 20ish minutes to Providence. Honestly can’t beat it.
Medicaid here is offered by a few insurers and you can choose which one you get. We’ve had Tufts RI Together and it’s been amazing. Feel free to DM me if you want more specifics.
Thanks! Just ordered a pair of Summits last night. I did look at RVL8s but ultimately went with the Summits.
I rode them about 10ish years ago as an alternative to being a buffoon in longer skis and really liked them. That’s really all there is to it. I was surprised to see how much distaste there is for them, just chatting with stores around here.
Entirely depends on where you are. I’d recommend you either visit or call your town hall to get instructions. You also may be able to vote early at your town hall.

RI continues to feel like a hidden gem to me.
