The other reason the bag method isn't favored anymore is that people have had the idea that any bag will do and suffocated themselves with plastic.

While I don't think you did the right thing here, everyone learned a lesson. Call it a small win. You seem to understand that it probably wasn't the right move to get physical, and the other party got a quick batch of fuck around and find out.

I found it hard for the first couple months, then it just kinda got better. I never really made any conscious changes, I guess I just adapted.

Probably one of those commercial axe throwing places. They are getting popular around here, most have a liquor license as well which just seems like a bad idea. From my understanding it’s sorta like a bowling alley vibe with sharp objects.

My personal favourite was a self proclaimed arborist who kindly offered to remove the “dead” tree from the front yard for a good price as he was in the area. That was 5 years ago, and the tree is alive and well to this day. I still haven’t quite figured out his angle.
