Reply to Anyone interested in taking over a lease through November at Haus 25? Job has me relocating out of state. Can keep the apt fully furnished if needed prior to Nov. Current rent is ~$1,300 below what the apt is going for now (700sf 1bd). Message/DM me if interested! Building and location are great! by Plo8crusher
They are running a promo right now with 1-2 months free. That’s not much of a discount. I’m going to repeat what I said with a different poster, Jersey City luxury apartments are relatively cheap right now and it’s the winter. You might have to pay someone to take it over. Newport has apartments the same size for ~3k.

All of Newark Ave for produce. I honestly think Morton Williams in JC, Whole Foods in Weehawken, Trader Joes in Hoboken, and Lidi in Bayonne are the closest you’ll get to highest quality with a “one stop shop”. Target typically has the cheapest eggs.
But to answer the question I think you’re having, Hoboken ShopRite gives you the best ratio of price, variety, and availability.

Reply to Why don’t the delivery Chinese restaurants in JC give fortune cookies? by jgech
Chef Tan does and they’re really the best. Also depending on the place there are halal or more specialized Chinese restaurants which are not opened up by the families who have been here for generations.
