Have you considered the Diana TC as it's a mini 1266 and more confortable ? I haven't have the chance to test expensive headphones like you, but my Diana V2 is my best cans for details and resolution, it makes EDM very fun. (Most other expensive headphones I tried is ZMF VO, Hifiman Arya, Audeze LCDXC)

Thanks for that link. I have the LCDXC and it's basically an LCDX with cups on it. I wondered if I could just slap the cups on my LCD2C and be done. I haven't heard the LCD2 closed but if they implemented that kind of filter, they must be better tuned than the LCDXC, which is a total mess compared to LCDX (no bass, harsh/painful tremble, unusable for me).

They are huge and heavy but quite confortable. The cable is horrible. The sound is boring af. I feel like it would be a good monitoring headphones but not an enjoyable one. Altought, the closed back competition at this price is non existent, it would be a big recommendation at that price and EQ the parts you don't like
