I do not doubt you at all and appreciate your accuracy, but genuinely curious behind the “why” of your comment of the information from our phone app is trash. Are the sources behind Apple’s Weather app not accurate or trusted and would you recommend a different App?

Taking your edit into account, you’ll love basically any town in the Sunapee/Upper Valley or Kearsarge area. As others have said, housing is limited and expensive (personally had to wait 7 months to get lucky).

You’ll have close access to Rt. 89 which can put you 30-40 min to Lebanon or Concord for all your main conveniences.

I don’t live near Dover or Concord so can’t help there but I moved to NH from Providence. Providence is lovely and checks most of your boxes, specifically the downtown/night life, gluten free restaurants, healthcare and probably dating options.

Lots of great dog trainers in the Providence area too, I’d check out the r/Providence sub for that.

There are some scenic walking trails within 20 min outside Providence but everything is flat and no comparison to what you’d find in NH.
