For me it's The Rock > Face/Off > Con Air. I liked all movies and Nic Cage but it's also on who he is bouncing off with. Con Air just didnt have Travolta nor Sean Connery.

The easiest one would be original vs remake. Try the original Korean Oldboy (2003) vs American remake Oldboy (2013).

Why not? I find online critic reviews to only be prominent and widely talked about during the initial release. But most people will forget about them years later. It's actually getting easier for movies to get a "cult following" with all the different ways to get movies now i.e. streaming services.

Saw it on digital and thought I should've watched this in the cinemas and I would've enjoyed it more because of the soundtrack.
