You can keep saying my “story is bullshit” but it’s not going to make that statement true.

So you want to complain about people making assumptions now? You can’t even see that your entire argument is based on an assumption and incorrect one at that.

You are not worth talking to. Enjoy the block shit bird.

Your error is assuming that there were key elements that were omitted without even having the ability to prove that is the case, not to mention having zero knowledge about the person who said it. Yeah, I’m the one who is full of it. 🙄

“Have a blessed day”. Oh, that explains so much about you. Thanks for that.

“I used your own ridiculous story to make your story sound unrealistic, no hyperbole needed.”

Your use of constant to change the narrative to better suit your agenda says otherwise.

“You said she has a history of it, now you're saying it's more common than the average person..”

You act like those two statements are opposing ideas and can’t possibly both be true simultaneously.

As I said before, you can believe what you want. My story is true whether you believe it or not. Unless you work at Petco Park as security and have access to security camera footage with audio, nothing you can say will change that.

You stated that I said all Padres fans are a piece of shit . I was providing proof that your statement was untrue and pointing you to evidence of that.

Stop saying I’ve said things that I haven’t. You are using hyperbole to try and make it seem like I’m purposefully making unrealistic and exaggerated claims.

I did not say my wife is constantly verbally abused. Merely that she has been verbally abused on more occasions than the average person because she’s small and quiet.

I only said I hope the Padres lose and mostly because I was angry about how we were treated by more than one isolated Padres fan. Now, notice I said more than one. Not many, not most, not all. What I said will have zero effect on how the Padres actually perform. I’m not doing anything to punish anyone.

Perhaps instead of getting all defensive, you should have gone with something like “Don’t lump all Padres fans together. We aren’t all bad!” unless you were just looking for a reason to argue.

Nowhere did I say EVERY Padres fan is a piece of shit. Your own bias convinced you that I did and you proceeded under that delusion without actually thoroughly reading what I said.

If you looked at one of my other comments to another redditor, you will see that I said, and I quote:

“Yea, I know. It was just extremely frustrating for us. My wife has a history of getting verbally abused by people for doing literally nothing to warrant it. People see that she is short, petite and quiet and they take advantage of it.

I know all Padres fans aren’t bad and every team has their bad apples and bandwagon fans. My recently deceased grandfather was a diehard Padres fan and he was a great man. Doesn’t make the abuse easier to stomach though.”

You’d have to find that guy and ask him why he decided to be an asshole for no reason, but that is what happened.

By your standards, the Knockout Game has to be made up because it doesn’t make sense that someone would try and knock someone else out cold without a reason, right?!

Believe whatever you want. It happened.

No, I didn’t specify anything about context. We were walking back to our seats from getting one of those ice cream cookie sandwiches near the Rocket League booth and this guy and his friend were walking in the opposite direction past us. The guy closest to us saw my wife’s sweatshirt and that’s when he said it.

Glad the Dodgers LOST but I hope the Phillies destroy the Padres. I went to a Padres game as a Giants fan recently and the Padres fans I encountered were awful. One guy even called my wife a cunt and told her she had “dog shit” on her sweatshirt. No, we were not loud and obnoxious fans. We were quiet, barely even cheering when the Giants scored. Kept to ourselves the whole time. I had always heard good things about Padres fans too.

Yeah, I hope the Padres get 0-4’d.

Edited for a typo: I know the Dodgers lost. 🤣
