Lifepo4 are great. Long lasting, fast charging/discharging, but energy density leaves something to be desired.

Yeah. That too. Composites mitigate it, but high pressure hydrogen is phenominally dangerous when mistakes or accidents happen. Not even so much fire, but 20000psi suddenly releasing is basically a bomb.

There's a whole nother dimension to this problem also. Compressing the hydrogen to the necessary pressures to get descent energy efficiency uses a ton of energy also. Hydrogen is a really terrible energy storage and transport mechanism.

No. They weren't. We developed them after ww2 also and then abandoned them until the computer age; because they were unstable and dangerous without a computer to do fast adjustments to control surfaces.

Flying wings are inheriantly unstable. There's a reason there wasn't a safe design until you had computer controlled flight surfaces.
