Yea if you're looking for some great music for deep inflection, I would double down on Tool. Maybe Undertow or Ænama wouldn't be great starter albums, but Lateralus, 10000 Days, or Fear Inoculum have plenty of great, deep songs. Honestly though, fourty6-2 from Ænama is literally about inflection of one's self, and identifying your inner flaws/demons, great song.

I know nobody likes covers, but you should be playing the Asking Alexandria cover. I agree that the original NIN version is probably a better song, but if we're going for shock value, Danny does a good job of turning a twisted song into a horror show (the good kind).

This whole thing is a really shitty pisstake..
"You guys don't like hip-hop enough, but look at how shitty these folk/rock dudes are!! And you LIKE them!?"
Most of us actually have nothing to say about artists we don't care for, and don't say anything. You should try that..
Also,, the few that do say shit generally want this exact kind of rise out of you, which is a child's game to play and usually has nothing to do with the talent of the artist..
Like sure, I'm sure Kanye is really talented.. but I don't generally care for hip-hop, and I don't like the person Kanya personifies, so I don't support him..
r/music is supposed to be about the music though, so most of us don't go running around trashing on the artists personally.. sounds like you just got all wrapped up in comment sections... try taking a little reddit break and see if your tantrum fades..
